Thrash to Advise Commish

Former Missouri Southern Lion James Thrash has been honored by the new NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Thrash is part of a new 6 player veteran advisory council. The 6 will talk with Goodell about player conduct, safety, health issues and competition.

Thrash is one of 3 current or former Philadelphia Eagles on the council. He joins new Eagle Takeo Spikes and former Eagle Troy Vincent. Rounding out the board are Colt center Jeff Saturday, Viking fullback Tony Richardson and Jacksonville safety Donovin Darius.

The league is currently trying to decide what to do with the troubled Pac-Man Jones and Chris Henry, as well as mapping out a plan to handle future disciplinary situations.
