Dante Hall Gone; LJ Going?

The Kansas City Chiefs just made the playoffs last season, but they could be going into rebuild mode now. Today the Chiefs ending the Dante Hall era by shipping him to (where else?) St. Louis for a 5th-round draft pick.
But that's not all...

Chief All-Everything running back Larry Johnson could be rolling out of town as well. NFL.com reports the Chiefs are talking with several teams (including the Browns, Titans, Packers and Bills) about a deal.

Basically the idea is two-pronged: LJ is in the last year of his current deal and wants LT money next time around, something the Chiefs aren't really keen on. So instead of losing him in a year and getting nothing in return, they trade him now and get something. Ideally, word is, they'd put themselves in position to draft Adrian Peterson on Saturday.

So to recap, Trent Green is all-but-gone to Miami, Dante Hall is gone, and Larry Johnson could be cashing in his frequent flier miles. Chiefs fans, what do you think?

I am a big Chiefs fan, but once baseball season starts...I spend what little spare time I have reading about baseball and checking out this blog. So, someone...fill me in. Trent Green to Miami? Huh? Fine...he sucked last year, but who do they plan to replace him with? The kid from Alabama? Brody Croyle, I think it is? If that's the case, we're going to be rebuilding for a couple of years anyway, so I say go ahead and trade LJ for the opportunity to draft Peterson. When was the last time the Chiefs DRAFTED a marquis player? Build a dynasty, I say.

Good riddance...Dante Hall is not what he once was. The Chiefs might as well deal him while people still think he's the same Dante of 2003. As for LJ...The Chiefs rode that horse into the ground last year to get to the playoffs...416 attempts, which is an NFL record beating Jamal Anderson, who is where now? Plus LJ is a prima donna and moody as hell. Dump him before he becomes TO and while his value is high.

Dump all 3 of them and restack the deck. As Goff said we are rebuilding at quarterback already, why not dump the cry baby RB at the same time. They are not going to put out large dollars for a RB after getting burned with Priest's contract. Herm wants to build the team around defense and all indications are we are heading that way, let's roll the dice on some fresh meat on offense and see what happens.
