A Dabble of Music

Austin, Texas' own Voxtrot hasn't put out a full album yet, but their EPs sure sound good. A great ear for hooks has these guys on the cusp of doing something...as soon as they get around to releasing a full CD.

In the meantime, check out this great version of the bore-into-your-brain-catchy "Rise Up in the Dirt"(just right-click and choose "Save target as..." to download it), from their 2006 EP Mothers, Sisters, Daughters & Wives. Later in February they'll release a new single, "Trouble", which you can hear right now on their MySpace site, and over at my fave, eMusic.
